Travel & Preparation
Navan is our travel partner for Champion’s Circle. Navan’s Travel team will begin making the airline arrangements for your trip upon completion of your online registration. Within three (3) business days of completing your registration, you will receive a proposed itinerary via email.
- Upon receipt of the email, you will have 24 hours to confirm or reject your reservation with comments.
- If your reservation expires, a second (potentially the same) proposed itinerary will be emailed to you.
- If your 24-hour window elapses again, Navan will call you directly to discuss your options.
Flights will be selected for you based on program guidelines and in accordance with the program’s designated airfares. Please be aware that the rules associated with these designated airfares may require traveling on a preselected airline carrier and the use of a non-refundable, non-transferable ticket.
We must have your completed registration in order to finalize your airline arrangements.
Required Travel Documents
U.S Citizens: Passports are not required.
All Other Citizens: You are responsible for securing the required travel documents for your trip. You must check with the Consulate of each country listed on your itinerary to make sure you have all the necessary travel documents. Country-specific travel documents may be required when connecting through countries other than your final destination.
Secure Flight: As part of the Secure Flight initiative and to comply with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) regulations, all airline passengers will be required to provide their date of birth, gender and full name. During registration, you will be asked to provide your date of birth, gender and full name – exactly as it appears on Government issued ID. Not required, but optional if previously issued, will be a Redress Number and Known Traveler Number.
The TSA has incorporated privacy laws and practices into all areas of the Secure Flight program. The information gathered is a requirement of the TSA and DHS for purposes of watch list screening. For more detailed information regarding Secure Flight, please click here.
Frequent Flyer Guidelines: Frequent flyer programs vary from airline to airline. Please be aware of the following general guidelines:
- Availability of frequent flyer upgrades is extremely limited.
- Due to negotiated airfares, the use of your frequent flyer airline or frequent flyer upgrade may incur additional costs or may not be possible.
Luggage Policies
Expect a high level of security and enforcement of carry-on and checked luggage policies. Please check with the airline carrier(s) you will be using for specific information regarding luggage restrictions.
Carry-On Luggage: Most airports limit carry-on luggage to one piece plus a personal item, such as a purse, briefcase or laptop. Airports are strictly observing policies regarding items that cannot be included in carry-on bags. For the latest listing of all prohibited and permitted carry-on items (and how to pack them), check with the U.S. Transportation Security Administration or the aviation security agency for your country of origin and final destination. If the item is questionable, leave it at home or pack it in your checked luggage.
Checked Luggage: The number of allowable, free checked luggage varies according to each airline, and you may be charged for excess luggage. In addition, if your luggage exceeds the carrier’s specified weight allowance, you will be charged for the extra poundage or asked to eliminate items from your luggage. It is important to contact your specific airline carrier(s) for detailed information regarding their luggage policy.
Luggage Identification: Airlines advise passengers to include full identification information inside each piece of luggage in case the outer tags are lost in handling. Before leaving for your trip, please attach luggage tags to each piece of checked luggage.
Baggage Claim: Be sure to retain your baggage claim check to claim your luggage.
